Recording and Communicating Knowledge

Our students explored the world of Braille and its vital role in communication for the visually impaired. They practiced writing their names using the tactile alphabet, gaining hands-on experience in this unique form of writing. Afterward, they shared their thoughts on the importance of Braille in promoting accessibility and inclusion. This meaningful activity not only deepened their understanding of alternative communication methods but also fostered empathy and awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with visual impairments.

Ice Breaker Activity (Pass and Guide Activity)

To kick off their learning journey, students took part in a lively icebreaker activity involving music, teamwork, and creative problem-solving! This engaging exercise not only encouraged collaboration and empathy but also introduced the concept of maps by highlighting how directions can guide us, just like solving problems!

Exploring the Grasslands

Our students took to the school grounds for a hands-on exploration of different land types as part of their study on temperate grasslands! Divided into groups, they collected samples from garden soil, grassy areas, and dirt patches, observing characteristics like texture, color, and moisture. Afterward, they presented their findings, linking the soil types to temperate grasslands. This interactive exercise enhanced their understanding of ecosystems while promoting teamwork and observational skills!

Travel Brochure Creations

Our students worked together to create vibrant travel brochures showcasing the rich culture and attractions of Saudi Arabia! They researched historical sites, local cuisine, customs, and natural landscapes, then designed informative and visually captivating brochures. This collaborative activity deepened their appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s heritage while boosting their research, creativity, and teamwork skills!

Exploring India's Climate: Weather Report Presentations

Groups of young meteorologists dived into research to prepare weather reports for various regions across India! They analyzed current conditions—temperature, humidity, and precipitation—and presented their findings to the class. Afterward, they discussed the diverse climates across the country and how these variations influence daily life. This interactive activity deepened their understanding of India's climate while enhancing their research and public speaking skills.
