Literary Engagement Session with Mr. Ishaan Shanavas
In our endeavor to cultivate a profound appreciation for literature and environmental stewardship among our students, NPS Sadashivanagar had the distinguished privilege of hosting Mr. Ishaan Shanavas for an intellectually stimulating interactive discourse with students from Grades V to X.
Through compelling and thought-provoking dialogues, Mr. Shanavas eloquently inspired young minds to contemplate the paramount importance of reestablishing our intrinsic connection with the natural world, emphasizing that transformative change emanates from within each individual. The session simultaneously fostered a more nuanced understanding of literature as a powerful conduit for creative expression and social consciousness.
Students were thoroughly captivated by the enriching experience and demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm through their active participation in the scholarly exchange. Copies of Mr. Shanavas's acclaimed literary work are now readily accessible in our school library for students eager to delve deeper into his thought-provoking narratives.
Bhagavad Gita Chanting (Pragnya Pradeepa)
Won Sarvottama Award, for Bhagavad Gita chanting at Pragnya Pradeepa competition. She flawlessly recited 10 shlokas from Chapter 15 at an inter-school event. Her devotion, discipline, and cultural rootedness shone brightly.
National Level Spell Bee
Secured 3rd place at National Level Spell Bee Competition showcasing linguistic precision. Her command over vocabulary and spelling was lauded in a highly competitive event. This accomplishment reflects dedication and verbal intelligence.

Tune Triumph
In a remarkable feat, Katyayani Chodavarapu of Grade III recently performed her debut Carnatic vocal concert during Chennai's Marghazhi season. At just eight years old, she was the youngest performer in the concert series at Hayagreeva Mutt, T. Nagar. Katyayani presented a 20-minute recital, featuring a varnam and three Krithis, and was honored by senior violinist Vidwan Sri. Vittal Ramamurthy. Additionally, she played the tambura for her guru and accompanied renowned artists in a New Year's Day concert-a notable achievement for a child of her age.
Youthful Brilliance
Young prodigy Tarun Shree Vijay of Grade II was bestowed the distinguished honour of an audience with the Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot, recognized for precocious talents in the realm of Space, was amongst a selective coterie of academically outstanding students requested to call upon his excellency at the stately Raj Bhavan. Whilst there, the erudite group was also extended the privilege of encountering Mr. G. Shantimurthy, esteemed President of the National Children’s Club. This exceptionally promising cohort represented the vanguard of India's next generation of scientific pioneers. Their invitation to meet some of the nation's highest dignitaries speaks volumes of their remarkable potential.
